Bookstore owner Lori is on her way home to Portland when the man sitting beside her on the plane asks if she's single. He's not asking for himself, though. Somehow, he's become convinced that Lori is the perfect match for his friend Charlie, who's a great guy, a teacher everyone loves.
 
Lori's first thought is "No, thanks anyway," because she's happy with her job, her friends, and her life, and she's tired of all the criticism she gets from friends and family over everyone she decides to date.
 
But this man beside her is very convincing.
 
So is the picture he shows her of a handsome, smiling guy whose warmth and charm are obvious, even on the tiny screen of a smartphone.
