I have not commented so far. This has been interesting with waiting for the next chapter. Anyway, I was going to wait till thecend but saw a mis word.
"...he glanced up and me and winked." it should be "...he glanced up at me and winked."

Well done so far. One chapter was a little redundant but it was still good and I'm biting at the bit for the next chapter!
