Oh man! Okay, I think I'm a little sensitive here. I understand her feelings but my dad was in a wheelchair most my life and half of his. I do not like that she just ran fron him. I got a grrr from my chest. However, good has to be coming so i'm willing to hold on.

Oh dear! That is not the impression I wanted to give at all. The problem is, she thinks she's fat. In the next couple of chapters she works through her irrational thoughts about food and her weight. I'll need to reword that somehow. My brother (oddly whose name is also Matt - not sure why that just occurred to me!) has been in a wheelchair all his life. I would never want to offend him, or your dad, or anyone else. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. -Julie

I wish he had just been honest but I get it. I also understand that she is sensitive about her weight. I see him flying down the hall after her or should I say wheeling lol. I am loving this book.
